world in a grain of sand

artweek

It's Oxfordshire artweek, when artists open their homes and studios to the public to come and admire - and hopefully, in some cases, buy - their work. I love the opportunity to do some snooping patronise the arts. Because they are visual people, they often have lovely houses and gardens, so that's a bonus.
Tonight I visited a friend who's exhibiting her jewelry. She generously let me move things around and generally get in the way. I chose this one because I like the raindrops on the window behind the jewelery.

Ithaca and I went out at lunchtime to do our homework for the photography course - both suffering from performance anxiety which we allayed a bit.
I think this weekend will be spent looking for "lines" - our assignment title!
