The very hungry caterpillar

My own very hungry caterpillar was totally disinterested in Eric Carle's Very hungry caterpillar this evening. Whilst her dad was trying to read it to her, she was more interested in getting into the draws next to her!

Didn't do anything interesting today, but we popped into my work as we were passing it. Everyone cooed over Megan, which she loved and lapped up giving beaming grins in return. Had a quick chat to my boss about my return and broke the news that I would like to take extended maternity leave (rather than going back when my statutory maternity ends) which takes us up to the end of September, then I want to take about a month of annual leave which has accrued. Not sure how well this went down. Oh yeah, and did I mention I wanted to go part time?!

Rest of the day was uneventful. Megan had a bounce in her jumperoo and I made lasagne.
