Faded splendour

There is something sad about old buildings that are starting to look a little like Miss Haversham.

Most of the area where we were was like that. Admittedly there was renovation going on, but the picture in the bar kind of said it all. It was of the Prince Regent as a handsome youth before he became Georgey Porgy. The area is reliant on past splendour which is now sadly faded.
