I can see clearly now

Duncan and I went along to the optician this morning to have his eyes tested. On the way back to school we stopped at the Belhaven bridge so I could take a camera-phone picture of the tide tables for May and June, and I snapped him with his daft wee green monster.

Apparently he has very slight short-sightedness but the optician wasn't for prescribing glasses. I'm not entirely convinced that's a good idea, but we'll go back if he has any more issues. In the meantime I asked his teacher to have him sit a bit nearer the board, so that'll do for now.

We're to go back to the optician again in 6 months - by which time he'll be in High School! Just seems to soon...
