Dam

At 6.45am the day looked still and beautiful. On such a morning Watergrove Reservoir is stunningly beautiful. I spent an hour walking around the lake looking for the perfect shot. It could have been this one, of a young swan. Or a number of other spectacular reflections of complicated clouds and vapour trails. But I chose this blip for the sense, created by the dam, that the water and sky are somehow one, well above the world.
