Sun and heat on the plain

Went in the opposite direction today, heading south to Bazzano and then turned off the main road and headed up into the hills in a circular route back to Trevi. Countryside had far more umbrella pines, cypresses and limes, rather than the slightly stunted oaks that cover most of the uncultivated hillside round Trevi. I took a shot of the road overhung with trees and green light which I put in my landscape blipfolio. However, this photograph I had taken around noon before I headed up from the plain is the one I have blipped. Although very contrasty and looking like it has been heavily photoshopped, I liked the almost posterized colours.
