House near Bavareto, Marche, Italy

Lashing rain and wind all night. Cleared briefly at dawn then rolled in again. Went out for coffee and then set off in the rain. Low and behold, skies cleared and the sun came out as I found myself crossing the border out of Umbria into Marche. Twisting roads and steep sided valleys with houses perched on the mountainside. The sides of the roads marked with cypresses. Very picturesque but nowhere to stop on the twisting roads. I pulled into a little village and on the outskirts photographed this pink house. Typical of the slightly grander residences in the area.
