love Bank Hol weekends...

mammoth lie in until 8am! love that bank hol feeling when you wake up on a monday and you're off work. bank holiday treat to a clear blue sky and sunshine. had breakfast outside for the first time this year.

spray painted the gate this morning, looking good with its black gloss coat. popped to B&Q (along with everyone esle) for more paint, then went to 49 for a long long shift today.

undercoating is an absolute ball ache. don't like it, have no patience at all, just want to see smooth white gloss instantly! only thing that made the day pleasurable was listening to Radio 1's Top 150 of the millenium, classic tunes, s club, girls aloud, killers, atomic kitten!

finished at 6pm, and then home for a nice tea, and a glass or two of well earned rose.

couldn't wait to get in the bath tonight using v expensive Jo Malone oil. i know i have dodgy toes and feet (mum and bro have too!, but i like this blip, and the simplicity of it......time to relax
