Chasing Sunbeams

I'm having an unintentional break from my usual blipping routine today. Usually, I wait 'til the end of the day and see what the day brings, photo-wise. Yet here it is, just after 10.30 am, and I've chosen today's blip already. I haven't even got as far as my morning tea yet!

Miss Tibbs jumped down off her favourite rocking chair this morning, taking herself across the room to find some sunbeams. Our recent pattern of rainy days seems to have come to an end, bringing with it sunshine, and cold days. Miss Tibbs must have been searching for some warmth.

She looked so cute, perched on the floor in the sun, with a lovely big shadow next to her, so I took a series of photos of her as she moved this way and that....

....then she had a massive yawn! Look at how her white whiskers stand out against the leg of the table behind her.

I love capturing these unexpected moments. :)
