Pelicans Paradise

Went for a walk in the park by the river today and took many photos. Did I say many? Make that many, many...there were 66 in total!

After collecting our son from a mates place, we called in at the fish and chip shop for lunch. The local pelican population love hanging out near the back door as George, our amazing fish and chip cook, feeds them the dregs of the uncooked fish.

They were congregated at the back door again today. A couple of the pelicans even posed for me, and low and behold, I shot a seagull in flight (photographically speaking, that is!)
