Craigies Farm
Early rise for us all today. We even managed to have the car packed up and be out of the house for around 10.30am which is a rarity for us! It was lovely weather as we set out east, but on the motorway we hit torrential rain and sleet! We almost turned back, but I'm glad we decided to battle on as it cleared up when we arrived at Craigies Farm & Deli. We had an early lunch as O was needing fed anyway and it was still raining slightly. After lunch, we walked around and saw some lambs (gutted that we missed feeding times) and lots of hens. H played hide and seek with her daddy and got drenched and filthy by jumping in a huge big muddy puddle! We polished off our visit with some lovely ice-cream and a couple of purchases from the farm shop.
Got home around 3pm so still time for me to make a steak pie for dinner and nip to Asda for shopping whilst the kids napped. It was a lovely day and everyone was well behaved :-)
O is 7 weeks old today and is giving us lots of joy.
H is very funny at the moment and comes out with some great comments. Today, she had soup all round her mouth and I said to hubby "Get the wipes handy". She instantly said "He's not Andy, he's Craig". It was very funny.
