Brotherly Love
Hubby had to go to the bank this morning so brought back McDonalds breakfast for us all (which was free due to vouchers), so a nice treat to start the day with. H had pancakes with maple syrup and we have breakfast McMuffins.
Once we were dressed, I took H to collect get new shoes. She loved them and loved looking at all of the shoes in the big shoe shop. Next stop we went to a bargain shop looking for some storage tubs - H was running up and down the long aisles, and then we popped into the pet shop for a look round. We don't have any pets, but I thought H might enjoy seeing the animals - we saw rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, rats, guinea pigs and fish. H loved it.
We did quite a bit of housework and chalked some chores off the to do list today. Hubby had a bit of a clear out of the garage which was full to bursting, and brought H's wendy house in which we had put away a while ago (we just don't have the space for so many big toys all at once!) H had great fun hiding in it and took some of her toys into it for a camping trip (she calls it her tent).
O is really coming on and is full of constant smiles and fun. He has started hitting the toys on his playgym which he seems to enjoy. H also enjoys lying beside him though - the poor boy can't have anything of his own it would seem! It's lovely watching them though as O watches every move H makes and clearly adores her already. He is such a happy wee soul :-)
