Go Rocks!

Sons number 1 and 2 and I went with my friend Andrew and his son Jake to watch Bognor Regis Town versus Dulwich Hamlet in the Ryman Football League Division One South Play-off Final this afternoon.

It's hard to remember that it was only 14 years ago that the Mighty Shots were still in this league - and how well we've done to end the season disappointed that we didn't quite make the play-off's in division 2!

But today wasn't about the Shots - well done to Bognor and good luck next year in the Ryman Premier ....


Maybe I should have added that this was one of the Bognor players going into the crowd to give his girlfriend/wife a hug immediately after the final whistle had blown and Bognor had won. Brings a tear to my eye :-)
