Red in claw, blue in feather!

I've spared your feelings here because I also got photos of this jay devouring a young bird, presumably stolen from a nest. If you don't mind the gory details, you can look here .
I've been trying for ages to get some decent photos of the jays in the cemetery, but to no avail. Today, however, this one sat in a tree quite close to me while it ate its prey, then was tempted down with some peanuts. I got so many photos that choosing the best was a tough task and I'm still not sure...
It's been quite pleasant today, but very cold for May.
