Squirrelwatching

Pumpkin sits patiently on an overturned garden pot as he watches the squirrels scurry about for their breakfast in the morning sun. Fear not, our cats are well trained and will do nothing when squirrels are around - even a metre away. The squirrels are used to our cats but the youngsters are wary for a while. They seem to know our cats because when a cat from elsewhere in the complex comes around they all make for the trees. When that happens we shoo away the offender. We don't want fights in our yard be they cat/squirrel fights or cat-on-cat fights. We don't need the hassle or the vet bills.
