Hippo hurray - the Festival has started

Bit of a cold grey start for the Children's Parade this morning, which kicks off the Brighton Festival. It didn't stop a good crowd from turning out and there was a fantastic display of assorted beasties being carried through the streets.

After yesterday's night out I was feeling a bit cold and grey myself, so after watching the parade and picking up the dog from a friend's, it was back home for a bacon sarnie and a siesta.
