Baby Eloise

Later on yesterday, some friends of ours asked if we were free today. They live in Cambridge but had family to visit today. So we made arrangements to see them. Except we then all thought it would be easier on them and their little baby to split the journey. So at 10pm last night, baby Eloise and her parents arrived for the night. We havent met Eloise since she's been on the outside, so I was quite excited. Katie was very excited to hear that Eloise would be here when she got up today and that I would be sleeping in her room with her.

Katie was that excited that at 4.30 she was certain it was getting up time. Thankfully I managed to convince her otherwise and she went to sleep until 6am. A lie in for Mummy! She came downstairs before Eloise was up and had lined up lots of toys that Eloise could play with, set out the mat for her to play on and was eagerly awaiting her coming down.

Eloise didnt disappoint. Katie adored her and was so gentle and kind to her. She was showing her a pig magnet that she has and said to her "this is a pig, pigs say oink oink. Thats their noise". She kissed her, cuddled her and stroked her so carefully. Sadly, they got called away quite early but Eloise has made a big impression.

This afternoon we are at Amelie's Christening and party afterwards, so it will be a nice time as all our friends from the old village we lived in will be there.
