still waiting for the new arrivals.....

Had a nice relaxed day today.... didn't get up to much.... felt tired all day, and managed to have a wee nap that turned into a 2hr snooze on the sofa!!
Not sure if that's old age setting in, or if I just needed it!!

Took a drive into Edinburgh to pay the rest of the balance for our trip to Iceland, so that's me skint for another month, but for once I'm happy about it... and well, considering I only worked for 3 days last month I can't really grudge handing over a months not so hard earned dosh!

Stopped to check on what I know call MY swan....she's still keeping those eggs nice and cosy. Watched for a while as she picked up twigs and loose feathers from around her and tucked them in......

Today is Sammy Dogs birthday.... he's 1yr old, I got him when he was 10weeks old, and I have to say he's the best thing that's happened to me in a long time.... he's given me a new lease of life, a reason to get out and about exploring every day and he's the perfect companion with endless love to give.... so Happy Birthday Sammy!....
