Bleeding Maple

My Japanese maple was in full bloom when the frost hit last week. It's slowly been losing ground, and in this morning's dreary rain, it looked like it was bleeding.

That fits my mood, as we just heard Al's brother was hospitalized for heart problems. I'm asking all of my blip friends to send positive energy and prayers to him. He's the patriarch of our large family, and the rock that many lean upon.
