Two grumpy boys

Neil and Henry have both been hard work tonight! Neil has picked up a flu like virus and has all sorts of random aches and pains, and is currently laying on the sofa with a hot water bottle and a blanket.

Henry has been grizzly for a few days now which we put down to teeth (another top one has poked through - 6 in total) but tonight I've noticed he's got a spotty rash on his legs and back. There was a sign up in nursery the other day saying there have been some cases of chicken pox, and it would fit with how he's been since the weekend with a fever, off solids and very clingy. Oh well, we shall see tomorrow.

In other news I managed to leave work on time today for the first time since I started back! I'm on call tomorrow which will be busy so I made the most of my 4pm finish today and actually cooked something for dinner (rosemary and paprika chicken with potato salad) instead of chucking a ready meal/pizza in the oven. Funny how the smallest things seem like a massive achievement now.

Today's blip is Henry momentarily forgetting to be clingy whilst engrossed in peppa pig. I love children's tv.
