Checking out the trees
Another bad night where Henry was in a semi awake state constantly getting onto his hands and knees and rocking from 3.30am onwards. I think he's practicing crawling, but he gets stuck then gets frustrated and cries! We both had naptime starting at 7.30am, luckily Wednesday is my morning off and we fitted 2 naps in!
I went for teaching this afternoon and was a bit late as I'd been to the breastfeeding cafe (they were being OFSTEDed so wanted people who had used the service to be there to tell them how good it is) but after 15 minutes the session was over and I got to come home! It was a planning session for some presentations we're doing in July so all we had to do really was get into groups and pick a topic. Ours is mother and baby 6 week postnatal checks - I'm the only girl in my group so I get to be the mum in the role play.
Today's blip is Henry checking out the trees in our garden while I put the wheelie bin away. I've started carrying him on my back a lot more as he's pretty heavy on my front and I can't see where I'm walking. He loves being on my back as he is high up and can see everything. I collected him from nursery and walked home with him on my back and all I could hear were excited squarks and giggles as he watched the cars, birds and trees on the way.
