Carl organises his play list

This is a fantastic local singer-songwriter called Carl Newton (I hope he manages to get more well-known). He's a kind of folky/protest singer, only with far more strings to his guitar.
He's also a friend of my partner since they met while Carl was gigging at our favourite pub.
Here he's trying to organise his play list. Badly! "Suggest a song. Any song...Have you any idea what I've written here? I can't tell...I must have written this when I was pissed...How long have I got?...Should I do that one?"
This is 10 minutes before he took to the stage!
All the same, he did a great set and had to be dragged off stage. There were other acts to go on.
