It's Only Words
War Memorial, Omagh, Northern Ireland
Imagine. Conscripts. Taken reluctantly from their families. Herded into muddy, rat-infested trenches in France. Slaughtered by the hundreds of thousands following the crazed orders of deranged generals and brain-dead politicians. Then ask, What's glorious about that? Remember the folly, not the glory. And end the celebration of the senseless slaughter of our grandfathers and great grandfathers. Not heroes. Victims.
