Anni Mamundi

A little walk to the post...

...Yielded at least half a dozen images I'd have been happy to blip.
(Ironic, after the 'famine' of the last few days).
The most abundant bit of wildlife was, as ever, the ladybird. (At least five varieties).
There were mating shieldbugs, a caterpillar and other bugs too...

Engrossed in the bushes at the roadside, I didn't hear someone calling me. They were intrigued as to what I was photographing and totally lost interest when I said 'ladybirds'... Well it was hardly likely to have been aliens or (to quote John Cleese) a 'herd of wilderbeast' (though you never know.We carry the camera just in case!).
I haven't identified this little bug yet. I'll have a little search later. A 'hedgerow alien' perhaps?
First things first. It's time I peeled some vegetables for dinner.
