Train

Traveling starts! We (Marlene, Beth and I) are going to start our journey to Nanjing today and hope it will all work out this time.

Since we don't want to go through the same drama as yesterday, we decided to leave for the train station as soon as we were awake. So around 11 o'clock we got out of the dorm building to walk to the nearby supermarket and then to the subway station. We were leaving at 11 for the train we needed to catch at 16 o'clock..
We were sure to be on time this time!

We were waiting at the train station for nearly three hours. Nonetheless we were all very relaxed.

And now I am typing this while I am going 295 km/h in the fast train from Beijing to Nanjing. I can use Beth's laptop for this. Which is wonderful, but since she has an Apple.. it takes some getting used to for me.

We just got a free bottle of drink and even a box of cookies. Three different kinds! Have I mentioned yet that we are traveling first class? I guess I never did it before, and I also guess I can get used to this. Although I probably shouldn't, because we already bought our other tickets, which were way cheaper.
Nonetheless, this is amazing. There is plenty of room for your feet and there is free food and there is a socket to plug your laptop in and there are very soft seats. It is great.

We will be arriving in Nanjing around 8 pm. And then we only need to get to the hostel, somehow.
