New Friend

TGIF!!!!!

Had a great day at the store! It was really busy. I didn't get as much done as I had planned for the day but it was a super day none the less :) Ran into a friend at the store with her daughter. It was nice to visit with them for a little tiny bit! Makes me realize I need to take time for visits more often!

I took my camera with me hoping to take a quick break and go visit Stanley. That didn't pan out but hope to go see him over the weekend. I am also going to go check on the egrets this weekend! I'm hoping one of these times out there I will get to see babies!! I walked around the house after work checking out what's blooming now. Another clematis is starting to bloom. It is different than the other one that bloomed earlier but is now done. This one has tons of buds so hoping for them all to open at once!! Had my macro on tonight but didn't use my tripod just walked around snapping here and there. Was about to come in and this little guy jumped into our little pond of our water feature in the front! He just floated a bit so I got him out. Tried to snap a few with him on my hand but it was late so low light which meant I upped my ISO quite a bit, had slow shutter speed and large aperture so most are kind of blurry and pixely. This one was the sharpest of his eye so it's my photo of the day!!! My new friend! I am going to have to come up with a name for him. I'm sure he will be frequenting my journal in the next while.

I'm off to enjoy a glass of wine in front of a fabulous fire Glenn just built and relax watching a movie.
