Today's the day ............................ to go to Blackpool

You know what it's like - you don't go to a concert for months - and then two come along on successive nights?!

Last night it was the Usher Hall in Edinburgh with the sublime Nicola Benedetti. Tonight it was the Opera House in Blackpool and the fabulous Imelda May. Two very different types of music - but we enjoyed them both very much.

There were a million blips to be had tonight and that was just looking round the audience! But I have to give you one of the lady herself. What would I give to have a voice like that? Her energy was boundless - her personality was huge. A complete star .......................................
