I'm a wood carving

Stayed close to home today and whilst walking my friend's dogs I blipped this wood carving of a large bird in Finlandrigg Woods. The dogs wondered where I'd disappeared to and just as I was pressing the shutter button they came running around the corner to look for me!

After yesterday's wet day we've been lucky today as its been dry all day.
