Out with the old, in with the new

Emergency blip alert! Yes, the phone on the left is a genuine Nokia 3330 which I have had since 2003. As part of our fantastic new all-singing all-dancing contract with our friends at Orange, we now have a nice new smartphone to drag us into the 21st century. It's about as much use as a chocolate teapot, because we have no phone number to go with it. Meanwhile the landline is still as dead as a doornail. But the nice lady at Orange did give S a free case for the Samsung to compensate for this minor inconvenience. So that's all right then.

It's been a busy day. Four-hour conference call. On Skype of course -- at least we still have an internet connection, so it's not all bad!
