White yolk

My teenage son eats constantly at the moment, apparently I don't feed him enough. When he got home he had a cereal bar followed by brioche and was still hungry, so I said that I'd make an omelette for him. For the first time ever I found a white yolk, apparently they are ok to eat and the colour is down to the hens diet.
