All washed up!

Took a trip down to Seaton this afternoon on the coast between Lyme Regis and Beer where this boat had been washed up on the beach by gales and high tides.

As well as this boat, several beech huts were damaged and had to be taken away for repair and shingle and sea weed had been thrown over the sea wall into the road. Not the most attractive seaside town in Devon, it looked even more down hearted today!

The sea was still crashing on the beach this afternoon and with high tides again tonight we are holding out breath that it will pass without any more damage.
