Rainbow Over Trevone Bay

Bad overnight weather meant that we had to do our coastal walk from Bude to Newquay out of sequence, and today we walked from Port Isaac to Harlyn Bay. Another wonderful days walking taking us past dramatic scenery, and past Polzeath and St Enodoc Church (Betjeman's burial place) to Rock and the ferry to Padstow. We had to step out round the peninsula to get back in time to St Merryn where the coach was parked, clocking up 21 miles. The weather was sunny mostly but at Trevone Bay there was rain as well and a rainbow.

Blessed be St Enodoc, blessed be the wave,
