Italian colours

We are out of food today, went up to The Avenue to do some food shopping. Had a nice drive along farm roads, weather quite cool actually but looks as if the sun might, just might, come out and warm things up a bit.

Had coffee in our favourite Pavone Sud; actually for a change I ordered tea as I wanted one of their Danish pastries and I always prefer tea when eating also. Anyway when it came, I was tickled pink with the little tea cosy, knitted in Italian flag colours, really cute. Actually blipped it, but when I came home I saw this lovely wee chaffinch and decided to change my blip!

The HG put up a new bird feeder with peanuts, but a grey squirrel has discovered it, and as we do not intend to feed it, we have had to take it down until we solve the problem. The chaffinch was happily tucking into the leftovers on the ground. Lovely colours they have, I think.
