Art on the Beach

What a wonderful day!
I spent the day on the beach with a class of year 2 (6/7 yr olds) and staff making sculpture from found objects. This sculpture was made by one of the pupils. They are such a creative, active and loving bunch, it's a pleasure spending time with them.

Activities today included (in no particular order)
- running
- running some more
- collecting stuff
- queuing for the toilet
- piling stuff up and bagsying it
- making sculpture
- drawing sculpture
- eating fruit and drinking milk
- eating lunch
- eating cake
- play fighting
- sand chucking
- laughing
- laughing some more
- sand drawing
- taking photos
- queuing for the toilet
- climbing on things and sliding down things
- walking on the pier
- looking at Wales
- looking at a ladybird
- queuing for the toilet
- leaping
- sleeping
....oh, and lots of learning!
