Day 5 - Burlington, VT

Despite the weather forecast last night (rain, and more rain) today actually turned out fine - a bit of sunshine, a bit of cloud, but most importantly no rain.

We walked miles. First to the University of Vermont campus for a nose (felt very old), then to town where a farmer's market was on - bought local maple syrup and some delicious apple donuts.

Onwards to the waterfront which was great. Burlington is set on a lake which makes it a really picturesque place to be. Spent the rest of the day around Church Street which is home to shops, stalls and buskers. These chaps were part of the Nick Jaina band from Portland, Oregon, who were very impressive.

A bit more shopping before heading back here to the inn for some coffee and cookies. Need a few hours rest before heading out again. Hard work this!
