Nuts

It was the 2nd day at the bike show today but there was no mega-stars in attendance and I only had to man our stand rather than present. Sometimes it was busy and other times less so.

I met some cool people and had a good chat with the sport science lot from the University of Surrey. There seemed to be a fair amount of fruit loops about though. Cycling seems to attract them.....and I don't discount myself from that category.

This chap was wandering about in baggy shorts, leg warmers, a yellow fluro jacket, carrying panniers and wearing a £170 Kask TT helmet! I have never seen the likes! Mental! He seemed quite good when he did the rollapaluza challenge though! Slightly afterwards two wee 10 year olds did the same challenge and were amazing. Cadence and souplesse were superb! They looked a bit frazzled and ready to cry until I said that I was going to warn Vicky Pendleton that her place may be at risk for the Olympics after seeing them! I got two massive smiles :) These lassies made my day. It's just bloody exciting to see how youngsters are so engaged and inspired by the sport!
