If I were a Bee
Bees are definitely my favourite insect! They remind me of being a kid...we had massive lavender bushes in the garden and the bees loved them. I used to catch them in jars as they made such a cool noise when shaken. Obviously, I would never do such a thing now.
It's been a weirdo day. I had planned to go out on the bike early, but Rosemary has got me addicted to Saturday morning Radio 4. The problem is that I always fall asleep listening, which I did again today. I then realised that no chores have been done for months either so I did some when I got up.....Once I'd got round to washing the bike, it was lunch time. Once my lunch had gone down, it was 2pm! I got out for a full hour as it was really windy and I was struggling for motivation.
Then, I weeded the garden and took a pic of Mr Bee! Arggg....had some coaching stuff to do too. The big boss asked me to do a wee favour and help one of his friends with the bike leg for a triathlon. Understatement of the century!! He just wants to break triathlon legend Dave Scott's over 50 Ironman world best. It's do-able though and an exciting challenge so I said yes!
I'm now sipping on a wee whisky....well wee compared to one my Dad would pour! He believed that a man was judged on how generous he was by the size of the dram he poured someone else. My dad would have spent his last pound on someone else......My grandad was a "miserable bastard" as his drams were small!
Finally, I'm listening to the RA Chez Damier podcast. Quite possibly the most funky, amusing and deep down dirt Chicago house mix I've ever listened to! Amazing!
