Aspirations!!
What a day. I cannot express how elated I feel today, could be the lack of sleep haha, but I highly doubt it.
After getting in at 5am after the nightmare journey, we were up at 730am to drive over to Kendal to Aspire Training Studios. We were booked on one of their introductory open days, opportunity to have a look at their premises, meet the team and have a mini shoot.
We were a bit worried that we were going to miss everything after last nights journey ( see Thursdays blip!) but were so elated that we made it.
The premises is simply incredible. Homely, yet modern, stone built court yard with buildings off set to the court yard. Catherine Connor was holding the meeting and her business partner Jane was there holding the meeting too. Rachel (model/studio stylist) was there to make us feel very welcome and styled the shoot later on in the day.
So we talked about our passions, why we were at the open day, where we are at with our photography and then listened to Catherine's presentation.
Wow. It was one of those meetings, even though it was short, that made me realise that this is what I am definitely meant to do. It is all Relevant to where I am at the moment and reiterated the fact that I am doing the right thing.
The model - Sophie - was stunning. She was friendly, professional, knew how to pose herself and the location setting just spoke for itself.
This is one of the shots that I liked the most - I loved pretty much all of them (will put them all on the Facebook page soon!) but this one just shone Sophie's personality.
All in all it was such an amazing day - I can see that it is going to be a milestone event that I will look at in months/years to come and realise it was such a turning point for myself and in my business.
When we got back to Leeds, it was such a chilled out evening with my cousin and Aunt. Watching tv in our jammies and enjoying a chinese for dinner!
