Long Journey! (More than one way!)

Today is Thursday - Thursday - Thursday!

Which means we are one step closer to Friday and the start of our weekend!

Today was a fantastic day for catching up with friends, lots of chilling out time with people that I haven't seen for a while. All very different girls, who bring lots of different support, friendship and just fun times!! Great to see them again :) It was a busy day catching up with everyone, perfect as a day off!

I was back at college tonight and it was just great! It was lovely catching up with the students again and get back into the swing of the course again.

We have been planning on going to Leeds after college on Thursday for our Aspire weekend away. And that's what we did!

It's 3.5 hours from home to Leeds - we got half way into the journey and joy of joys we broke down!! Thankfully we are covered for roadside! The guy came out to us at 1am after being outside for an hour! We thought our options were - towed to Leeds the we have to get the car back home ourselves - or towed to home. Then we would have missed my photography course in the Lake District and everything!

Fortunately, we were very lucky. Due to the bad timing of us breaking down and the driver finishing his shift - we were offered a free courtesy car, towed to the garage and they will deliver my car to home address on Monday whilst we have the courtesy car for the weekend in Leeds!! Talk about being very fortunate and having someone looking after us!

By the time we got the car and back on the road, we didn't get to Leeds till 5!!! Very late/ early depending on view point! My Aunt was great though - she stayed up and waited for us to get in safely! Extremely grateful!

Further issue was that we would have to leave Leeds Friday morning at 830am to get to Lake District for the Aspire Photography course - will see how Friday unfolds!!

Soooo looking forward to the long weekend!!
