It's been a while.....

Hi, it's me again! Long time, no blip. Two weeks ago I was in Istanbul, took loads of great photos but had no Internet access. Grrrrr!

In the last week I have set up a choir!!!!!
I've been meaning to for at least the last year but last week was the week. After watching some clips on YouTube of the PS22 choir from New York I was totally inspired. I decided to grab the bull by it's horns and just do it!! So within 1 week I had my venue sorted, shouted out on Facebook and on the night around 30 kids turned up! The Bodrum Carnival Pop Chorus was born. We were all buzzing after the first session. Tomorrow is our second meeting. If we work hard we will be performing this Tuesday in Bodrum town centre as part of the towns international children's day celebrations!!!

This photo is of Ali making a wish in Bodrum Castle. The symbol on the stonework has been used as the emblem for my husbands organization (Bodrum culture and arts) and we will also be incorporating it into our logo for the choir. It's nice to use something that is so deeply rooted in Bodrum's history.
