Trawler

The Trawler 'Welcome Home' on dock for painting. The weather has been poor for going anywhere and taking photographs, and I've been working. The weather didn't look any better today so I thought I'd go to Stromness and have take some shots around the town and go a couple of miles along the coast looking for summer migrants. It was a bit showery but i did take a few photographs. I met Tim Wootton, a local wildlife artist, who was also out after migrants. Later, I saw my second great skua of the season, a single Iceland gull and was cheered by also finding my first sand martins of the year- three at Warebeth.
