What's Going on Here?

Miss Annie looks puzzled. I'm not surprised -- I'm beginning to wonder myself. I naively thought this was going to be mostly a cleanup exercise with a little bit of plant rearranging. Silly me! It's turned into a major landscaping project. I've lost count of how many things have been dug up and moved, and it's not over yet.

At least I haven't had to do all the heavy lifting. Cynthia and our landscaper, Ann, have worked hard, and longer than I have -- but my aching back tells me I've done my fair share.

I think Miss Annie's major concern is where she's supposed to pee. She liked it better when this was all grass.
