Another Butterfly!
Be still my heart!
One of my friends told me the Red Admiral Butterfly I posted yesterday isn't commonly found in our region...The warm temperatures we have had brought them up north. That said, there were many flying around our yard again today.
I was going to feature a Downy Woodpecker whom I caught hanging on the screen outside today, but instead, this Question Mark Butterfly flew into my sights and took center stage! And yes, this little butterfly has *only* one antenna!!!
For what it's worth, I also spotted a teeny tiny black butterfly flitting about out front this morning. Unfortunately, the camera was inside the house. Ah well. I also saw a white butterfly that seemed to have endless energy...I never saw it land at all!
All in all, I cannot believe I have seen so many butterflies in April, no less!
