I gather the gestation period for swan eggs is 35 days from the last egg (so how does the first egg know...?). There could be a few shots like this.

The weather was cold and miserable again so just a short brisk walk out at lunchtime. Plenty of miserable looking birds around - the only one looking moderately comfortable was the pen.

Out for a meal this evening at the local as it's the last day the family will be together for a while.
