Matlock

Dropped off M at Uni this morning then up to Matlock an overnight stay - for a hills fix.

This is one view from the walk this afternoon - the tree's obviously had a curious history, and that's Riber castle in the distance.

The 'castle', derelict for many years, is being converted into apartments.

Weather remarkably kind to us, and only a few drips to bother us. Meal at the local Thai - which did a most respectable veggie banquet for two.
