The birds are starting to look pretty good now going into winter. Most look as though they are through their molt and getting some pretty nice feathers again after a hard summer.

One company in NZ has trained a family of these birds and they do tricks like pulling switches on lights - very cute - so Mrs. Poo has a real soft spot for them. Poo's on a winner with Mrs Poo tonight !! Oh Yes !

So here we are with a Pukeko or swamp hen.
