NZ SCAUP

I love this little bird mainly I think because of its compactness and its lovely yellow eye. They are moderately curious and will come reasonably close - like any duck, if they think there is a meal to be had ? I dont feed ducks as I think they do better without human intervention - I might be wrong ??
