The darkness comes

I gently lifted a sleeping Ferguson out from Haydn's car to put him straight in bed but as I stepped into the cold, he woke up with a start & an excited face to see me with him in my arms.

Because he is yet to have curtains hanging in his bedroom, getting him to sleep became an almost impossible task!

It was only when darkness fell 1.5 hours later that his head hit the pillow & he closed his eyes for sleep.
