Greetings from...

... Portland, Maine?!?!

Yup, it's Mr and Mrs DP on their yearly bespoke blip US road trip (a year to the day that we came back from the last one), and this time it's a few weeks 'leaf-peeping' around New England.

Decent flight on American Airlines into Boston Logan, incredibly smooth immigration and car hire pick-up, and before we knew it we were driving our Florida registered Chevvy red-thing (no idea what model - bit like a Focus) up through New Hampshire and Maine. Ticked off lots on our I-Spy list already - lighthouse, yellow school bus etc.

Arrived at the wonderfully quirky Pomegranate Inn in the coastal city of Portland after a few hours, greeted with fresh coffee and banana bread. Home for two nights. Bliss.
