Hole with View
Firstly, thanks to everyone for the stars and hearts for yesterday's Goldfinch blip, quite overwhelming really and I can only think there are lots of bird lovers on Blip!
Today was my first round of golf of the year and, as might be expected, I was a bit rusty to say the least. However, the company of four other retired gentlemen made it a very pleasant way to spend a few hours on our wee 9 hole course here in Carradale. Even if my golf is rubbish the views are always wonderful!
Today's blip is really inspired by Trevorearthy who has done a lovely series of blips from his own golf course. So I have decided to blip some of the holes and tees as there are great views from many of them. This is the sight that greets you as you climb the hill to the first hole, when hopefully your ball is on the green and has not rolled over the far side and into the rough! In some ways it reminds me of that infinity pool in Singapore I blipped recently. This looks a bit like an infinity green that disappears into the Kilbrannan Sound! There is in fact another hole below this one that is about 300 yards away! Hopefully the weather stays fine and I will be able to do further blips from the course!
Right must dash, Camera Club tonight and I better not be late!
